This is NOT a passport… or is it?
Each year for the past four years, my online friends and I have travelled around the continental United States. We would meet up and explore the local culture, and cuisine, and just enjoy each other's company. Several of us do not live in the United States tho, having to carry our passports with us at all times.
This is why as a souvenir, I decided to design and make the Rendevous Passport. A notebook resembling a passport in some capacity.
It is designed with a central crest created to show off each and every country of my friends, Scotland, New Zealand, the United States, and Canada (me!). It also features languages which are spoken among the group members, Spanish, Romanian, Serbian and English.
The Canadian Maple leaf is central as the crown of the crest, surrounded by the Scottish Tissle, the American Rose and the New Zealand Fern, these elements create a cohesive design that not only represents us all but also unifies.
Due to the fact that it looked decently real, the passport had to be fitted with a disclaimer that it is in fact NOT a real official document in any capacity.
Lastly, the ID page which all of us would fill in on our own at the meetup. This was designed to be fun, simple, and again representative.
Thanks so much for reading :)
